Lucca CafeLocated in a landmark Powell Landing building in North Beach, this building was once the home for Lucca restuarant in 1940s. In the mid 1950s it had become the home and work space of the famous San Franciscan artist, Freda Koblick which she kept until 1980.

Cafe Francisco inhabited this space in 1980s and its' owners made it a goal to continue using the space as an active art gallery hosting local artists and cultural events.

To this day, Cafe Francisco is a hub of fine food, interesting conversations, and the meeting place of some of the Bay Area's most interesting people. Come find out why we take such pride in our neighborhood and friends. Sign up for our email list so we can let you know about our next event!
